Supported files
EdgeRover™ recognizes and supports many file types. When you search, you can select filters from Categories to narrow your results by audio, books, documents, PDF, photos, presentations, spreadsheets, and videos. Keep in mind that you can also sort them by Name, Date modified, or Size.
Thumbnails
As you browse through EdgeRover, thumbnails of your photos and videos are displayed. These thumbnails provide a visual scan, which allows you to quickly identify each one.
When you upload a photo or video, the thumbnail for the file appears in just a few seconds. Thumbnails are visible in grid or list view in the Files tab. Tap a thumbnail to view the file in Single Item View. If the file is a video or an audio recording, it automatically starts to play when tapped.
Some of your files might have multiple pages, such as documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. EdgeRover uses one random page from a file to create a thumbnail.
Thumbnail limitations
In some cases, EdgeRover can’t display a thumbnail of a file. When this happens, a generic icon represents the file instead.

Note: Not all video and audio formats can be played, some file types may lack thumbnails, and some of these limitations are specific to your operating system.
